Was on the site earlier and things were normal. Now I notice many changes. Format changes. The font is smaller on the posts and the Ranks page. The photo automatically uploaded with this post, without two steps like usual. Everywhere I look there are changes.
Changes can be good, but an explanation would be helpful.
The profile is setup differently. Many changes I am still finding. But I have not found a message from Virily to let us know about the changes. That would be nice Virily. Why not let us know what changes are happening?
Instead we are left to figure out what is different and what is going on. Explanation would be nice!

There are really many changes. I’m still doing a little research and learning. Some things are good and some are not the best.

Well, I noticed the changes yesterday and thought what is going on! I use Eeyore usually when there are issues. He is my backup. 🙂 Thank you my dear Andre.
I still haven’t found where our drafts are stored or went to. If anyone has found this, please send me a message! Otherwise, I like the changes. However, a notice should be sent out to all the members or a banner posted.

I agree the changes came out of the blue and we should’ve had some prior warning. I am pleasantly surprised though and I hope the new Virily will run smoothly.

There are so many changes – I agree with you a banner would help. Otherwise, we will end up with misinformation about how and why things are or are not happening.
Nothing has changed here. No communication remains the biggest problem.
They actually fixed the poll issue for some of us.
They changed the look and feel of the site.
One of the things I proposed to the admin team was that they start adding a change banner when you first log onto the site.
so far crickets – that was nearly 2 years ago.
Crickets are everywhere. Nothing new.
I have been asking for emails, posts, banners, any form of communication for years now. Oh well
i would say they struggle with English, but many of the authors are English as their 3rd or 4th language.
i don’t know what to say anymore.
Dear Carol, I am very sad, some of my posts have disappeared and I really think I have lost earnings too as a result. This is horrible, I want my articles back.
I understand and many other members are having all kinds of issues. Hopefully things will change and maybe we will get communication from Virily.
My virils do not appear to be updating. I have made around 5 comments but only received 1 viril
Doesn’t sound good. Maybe soon we will get resolutions.

The draft is still functioning. Click the profile photo then notification. Click the menu on the right which contains three lines. Click the second post not the first. The first only offers editing feature. After clicking the second post which is towards the end of the menu, click the menu (three lines) that appears in the middle. You’ll see the draft.
I forgot to say this is when you’re using a smartphone. I haven’t yet accessed Virily on a computer.
The first menu is on the left, not right. Apologies.
Again it’s the second post that offers editing feature not the first. After you click the post, browse the post you want to edit. You’ll see three dots, click the dots and you’ll see the option of editing.

Was on Virily earlier today. Now it is late evening and everything looks different. Is it good or bad? Only time will tell. I read somewhere that Estonia (where Virily is stationed) is Europe’s Nigeria. I just hope it is not true…
The fact they pay and the some interesting features they’ve implemented have increased my level of trust. I hope it isn’t a Nigerian scam.

I didn’t mean any ill. I was referring to a section of Nigerians who involved in fraud. I do know majority of Nigerians aren’t scammers. Every country seems to have something specific related to it both good and bad.

Yeah, well right, same old same old, right Carol? No comms from Admin. Besides all the stuff everyone has mentioned, my experience is all of the above as well,(missing posts, etc.) with an additional one, I know that I have been on the site for 4 years, I was member number 107 yet I was never credited for it badges-wise, now there is a figure 4, thanks Virily for that. I had lost many dozens of articles from my first year. I simply Googled my Tranquilpen brand and there they are, until I click on the URL…Poof! nothing. Just like Bubblews. I’ll just wait and see what develops,it could be great!

I think they already Removed the daily login bonus , Earnings in Views and Comments.

Jasmine, nothing has changed except adding new features. Things have been arranged differently. I have not experienced any problem with commenting or replying. I know it will be solved if it’s not working on your side.
When you click your profile photo click the numbers that are followed with virils e.g. 54 virils. You will see the virils you’ve earned for viewing, commenting and publishing a post.
Thanks for that, Introvert. But this does underline Carol’s point about the importance of receiving some sort of explanation about what is happening. Without that, people are very quick to jump to (often wrong) conclusions.
You’re right Norman. They should have provided a guide how to navigate the site after making changes to the site. If the admin were ever helpful in communicating…

What I am hoping for @Carol DM is something that actually comes from site admins explaining the changes. I think that would be the best process. (Not that it matters what I think.)

Yesterday my posts total was more than 700, today it is 550 – so where did 150 posts disappear to, and which are they?

Without being negative, as members of this site, VIRILY, we should know what is going on and why some of the posts are missing.
I think that the changes are a good sign, they are trying to improve the site. Hopefully, there will be some verbal explanation soon.

That’s true. I don’t know why admin employ silent treatment to the members of the site.
I haven’t checked my posts though I saw they indicated I have 40 posts (quite a few). Maybe they’re reducing posts for those who have many.
It has always, always been like that. Frustrating.
I hope they will address the issue of the missing posts. I have to dig deeper into the site and know what and what not is there on the new lookout.
Time will tell what happens. I will hope for the best.
The changes are pretty visible. The site looked better and quite faster too.

Many things are no happening, maybe they are still updating. Who knows, a guessing game as usual.

I was just reading about the missing posts. I am sure there will be bugs, hopefully this is just that. A lot of work went into the new look. But yes, I totally agree, lack of communication is their thing though as you know.
The change is quite surprising and at the same time more pleasant, and indeed it would be better if there was a little explanation.
There is no reason why we cannot be told what is going on instead of finding the changes. They seem to be improvements, but where is the reasoning? Oh well it is what it is right!

I have changed too. Normally I go to my notifications bu I saw your post and here I am respoding to it first (lol). I did not even have to login the page opened. The number of notifications have been reduced. I have yet to see what other changes have been made.

My style of working here Carol. I know I have spotted changes on the site but have yet to see the whole scenario I normally go to my notificatins first but instead I responded to your post first and that is the change I am referring to.
