Anyone else having problems contacting support on Virily? I have not tried in months. I never got a reply before, so I just stopped.
Having a problem today and thought I would give it another try.
The contact form on the site gives me this message:
There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.
I send emails but get no replies. Oh well, nothing has changed.

Sometimes I talk about my frustration, it helps me to keep sane. Yes, it happens to me. Natalie was really great used to contact me and tell me what to do…but I see no help is available now..
Carol, when I have an edit request I go to https://virily.com/users/virily-editor/ and contact by PM. I reliably get a quick response. But getting answers/fixes to other problems or issues is a whole other matter 🙁

So, when you send them a PM through the link you’ve provided to edit a published article, they respond?
But, why did they include the contact page of one wants to edit an article when they don’t make use of it?

It is indeed a good question. It’s possible that contact page is broken so nobody sees what you send…

I sent a message through the private message system, first time to get a reply.
Right now, it seems that the problems I experienced have been addressed,(or they just changed something and I am benefitting)
Thankfully I rarely have to contact Virily unless I have some sort of typo in my writings. Nowadays I just say forget it because i know that it seems too much when I try and contact them.
I am once again at that point as well Thomas. Sadly.
Most of the time I vent them out on the beach or during my runs if I do not have anyone to talk to. It depends on the level of it also, but I have shared my lower concerns online to get advice from others on how to possibly handle it.
That sounds like a healthy way too vent. Good for you.
I sent them an email, twice. My request: would like to edit an article. Response: None.
I didn’t pursue the issue again especially when I read other users’ grievances towards the admin.
I no longer mind the grievances we have here. If there is no response, there is no help. When there is no help,no need to ask further.

Is it limited to specific issues or general issues?
This issue was about a quiz I recently posted yesterday.
I get a reply 1 out of may 5 emails sent to support. I get a response sometimes when I reach out on facebook, rare. I also tried Normans trick (go to the virily editor page and message them) that also gets occasional results.
But, you are not alone Carol.
I know I am not Doc. For a moment I thought maybe, just maybe things had changed. Nope, so I am over it once again.
I suspect things are not going to change. In part because it is working now (not perfectly but it is working).
Why fix what isn’t (in their eyes) broken?
Would love to know what they are thinking. No issues? No reason to respond? Oh willow whatever, have a good one.
One more thing…. things are broken, what is fixed? No response to our emails, etc.
I suspect they are struggling with issues on a larger scale right now. Looking at the rate of moderated posts, they really seem to have slowed down (Monday they did a lot, it felt like not as many done Tuesday.

Well there are things that are fixed and things that remain broken. I suspect they are well aware of both.
Why the admin team has disappeared is hard to pin point. I know they are not bad people.
I am just going to keep on doing what I do, and let the frustration go!

I disagree. Every site you are a member of should have a support person you can contact if you have issues. Keep quiet? No, that is not what we should do with issues that could be corrected by the site.
I have tried too and failed, I just give up and move on to other things.

I never tried to contact them even though I have questions. I have read a lot of stories here about non responses so I avoid contacting but I know I will need to someday. Hope it is all resolved when I do.

I have tried to contact them twice in last 3-4 months but the email would never go. I feel disappointed for a moment but then forget it thinking “I am a nobody on this site”. Cheers!

I haven’t try contacting the Virily team before but I read that they are not responsive. I don’t usually contact admin of any sites, unless I really need to, as there were times I just didn’t receive any response. But I keep reminding myself to just try it as sometimes I got positive response. I suppose I am used to the “not-so-good customer service” in my country, and I’ll just leave it and forget about it if I don’t get any response, or try to find an alternative way to do so. :p

It can be frustrating when you don’t get answers to your questions, For me, things have gotten better. I try to keep putting in new posts every other day at least and it used to be that they would not get posted for at least 3 days or so but now my turnaround has been pretty good so at this moment I have nothing to ask them. There was one incident a while ago where I put in a post and it was pending and then it just disappeared and I was left with no explanation but I just let it go because no one was going to tell me what happened.
I was so mad at first, now I took a step back and said to heck with it, I am done. 🙂

For a long time I no longer deal with Virily, dear Carol … 2 – 3 I wrote to them and didn’t get any answer now I don’t write to them anymore because everything is free
I went for months as well but had a question today. But I am over this now, doesn’t matter. 🙂
I’ve never needed to contact Virily, so I don’t know. But…these posts always need to get approved, so they must read them. They should contact you if you’ve got a problem!

The contact form cannot be submitted for some time. I tried a few months ago and got the same message.
I thought I would give it another try. As well as another email. Another message here. Nothing.
But all is good, I am not frustrated any more. I chose to rise above. 🙂
