Leopards are one of the wild felines people would want to have as pets. While it is possible, it is not advisable.
Leopards are adorable animals. Sadly they are listed as near threatened by IUCN. Not only are they hunted by humans for their bones and skins, they are losing their habitations due to man’s invasion of their habitats.
They are good tree climbers than the rest of the wild cat family. They can carry a prey twice using their firm teeth and jaws to drag the animal to the top of a tree.
They can run up to 58km/hr. They can leap vertically at a height of 10 feet and horizontally at a height of 20 feet.
They are distinguishable from other animals due to the dark spots that are visible on their fur. The spots are known as ‘rosettes’ because they look like the shape of a rose.
So, how much do you know about this cute animal? Let’s find out.

2 mistakes, I love leopards. Great quiz!
8 out of 10 thank you
Congratulations. That’s fantastic. Thanks for taking the quiz.
7/10, purr and meow!!! Thank you very much for such interesting quiz!!!
It does purr and meow like the house cat. That’s a good score and thanks for taking the quiz.
Great quiz and got some additional knowledge about this beautiful animal
Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed the quiz.
That was a really fun and interesting quiz. I didn’t get a good result, but I learned lots – thank you 🙂
Thank you, Norman. No worries. You enjoyed the quiz and learned some things which is the good part of a quiz.
Number 4 and number 10 got me. I would think even though they can carry antelope up a tree, that the lion would be stronger. I learned something new. Great quiz, I love these, and what a great way to do the Alphabet Crazy challenge. What’s next, mice, moose, monkey?
I’m glad you learned something. They have a powerful body compared to lions. They can carry a dead prey that is twice its weight although they are no match to lions.
The next is Mars and Monkeys. Monkeys are quite funny. And, maybe mice.
Thanks for taking the quiz.
Ah Mars, I am watching that documentary or whatever it is on Netflix about Mars and our plight to get there. Monkeys sound like a fun quiz. So many different kinds. I like those tiny tiny ones.
That’s good. I don’t think it’s possible but we will watch and see.
Thanks. I wouldn’t like to have them as pets but it’s interesting watching them.
True, I wouldn’t have any pet with thumbs. And monkeys do not make good pets. We’ve all seen the stories.
Super quiz. I learned a lot.
I’m glad you learned something and you enjoyed the quiz.
60% of correct answers… I think I know more than half of the leopards today… 😀 😀 😀
That’s a good score, Abhijit. You passed the 50%score, you do know more than a half.
Hahaha… a couple of them were flukes though 😀 😀
Oh I have got 5 only
You reached half the score. It’s acceptable. Thanks for taking the quiz.
Great quiz – totally failed but had fun and learned.
There is no failing in quizzes. You did try and glad you enjoyed it.
I got half right, and it was an interesting and fun quiz.
You scored 50%. That’s a good score. I’m glad you enjoyed the quiz.
8 out of 10 is not bad, I would not want one as a pet but they are very beautiful
That’s great, Pamela. I would love to have them as a pet but being wild…no
I am an animal lover, wild or not.
Me too. Animals are cute.
Enjoyed and learnt. Got just 4 though
You tried and you did learn some this about leopards. Thanks for taking the quiz.
enjoyed learning about leopards and got 6
I’m glad to hear that. It’s a good score. Thanks for taking the quiz.
Got 7 correct, I need to update my knowledge about the leopard.
You passed the half score. It’s a good score. There is so much facts about Leopards.
Good quiz.
I have 7 correct answers.I’m still trapped here. No quizzes of mine.
I feel like a leopard in a cage.
Thanks.
Robin, you’ll come back stronger. I’ll love to see your quiz again.
I would love to, but nothing happens.
Hope slowly disappears. A long time has passed and they have not solved the problem, but again they deleted my account, everything else is working normally.
Have you thought of creating a new account.
That’s a good score, Robin.
It’s sad that they haven’t rectified the problem.
A user who had a problem like yours decided to create a new account.
If I did, I’d lose the money I have now. I’d call it theft.
They’d better close the account on their own and say I’m anonymous or I’m not welcome.
Sad after two years of work.
But it can happen to anyone. And you and Doc and the Carol etc.
Unfortunately.
That’s the unfortunate thing. It can happen to any of us. While I can create, I still face other issues e.g. the length of waiting for my articles to be published and increased rate of my articles being rejected.
So it started with the wet account and then the inability to create,
Something is rotten in the country of Denmark – “Hamlet”
I only missed two, love these leopards.
That’s fabulous, Carol. Thanks for taking the quiz.
What do you know, I knew more than I thought about leopards.
This is a sign you love the wild cats so much.
