1. I wish I had more time to post more on this site especially about flowers, spring and gardens!

2. This reminds me so much of Durban my hometown. Many of the Indian families planted Marigolds in their gardens closer to their houses. Apparently the scent of this flower is quite challenging to snakes.

   • Oh wow what a great memory. Many here plant them to keep deer from their gardens. They have a different scent for sure.

     • I used to think that it was just a myth. And also these flowers are used at the various Eastern religious festivals.

       • No, I believe it to be true. Many of my neighbors plant these along the borders of their gardens as a deterrent. I just have them in my flower garden for the beauty.

     • The bright orange marigolds look stunning.

4. I haven’t posted anything about this challenge today. But I also enjoy being able to participate. I like the cosmetics and medical products that have Calendula.

5. I got so excited to see Albert I forgot what I was going to say. Oh yeah, I mentioned earlier this year or maybe last fall when you posted these beauties that I need to get some for bug control, and havent done that yet. This year I will! Lovely photo btw!

   I’m not familiar with Halloween colors, fortunately you mention them in the question.

12. I have never seen those flowers. They are beautiful. They have the gold’s colour.
