Butterfly Bush Bloom ~ Nature Thursday

Sharing a bloom from Dustin’s garden. This is my white butterfly bush blooming for the first time this year. I also have the black bush that is blooming a few feet from this one.

The garden is full of color, waiting on the butterflies. They will be here soon. The bees and hummingbirds are visiting.

Metamorphosis has always been the greatest symbol of change for poets and artists. Imagine that you could be a caterpillar one moment and a butterfly the next. ~Louie Schwartzberg

  1. When I was visiting the Old Town of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, I was fortunate to take a picture of a butterfly perched on a man’s shoulder. For about five minutes she took off and returned to him again. It was a magic moment. I’ll post these photos but I do not know for sure when. I made a total of about 450 photos in my home country. The flower is great.
