The attached photo is of a swallowtail butterfly taken in my yard. The edit represents both the chaos and the peace in my mind.
I would like to thank Albert (a member that has not been on the site for too long now) for always giving me inspiration. I am not a writer by a long shot. I read one of his philosophical and powerful posts he is so excellent at writing. And this is what came out on paper…
Clearing my mind of all the chaos and confusion
It all must go to feel the peace I strive for
Pulled this way and that way
Not sure of my direction
Which way should I go
Calm down deep breaths
Repeat…

Yes I can feel the relief
Mind body and soul is getting clearer
My path is in my reach
I can see it in the distance
Now I must continue this journey

Thank you Kim, I was trying to edit the photo to represent chaos (background) and peace (butterfly. I hope he returns one day.
Ah yes, and now that you said it. It works. It (the background) looks like a storm to me. I hope he does too, he knows there are many people here that really love him. I know he will try his best to come back. I wish I knew more of what was going on but I didnt want to pry.
I was reminded of a quiet walk, to clear my head.
I miss Albert all the time.
I hope he returns, he is one of the missing links here. 🙁

Calming down and taking a deep breath is the method that works very well! All my life I have written only one poem. I never repeated that experience!
Yes my friend it does. That is what has gotten me trough many days. It felt good to write out my emotions.
It is really amazing how just writing down your emotions will help you. I don’t or can’t rather write a poem. But I have written journals when times have been especially hard. Yours is perfect.
