Hope ~ My Happy Life

There are many ways to bring happiness into your life. And we all have to find our own ways. Nobody can do it for us. And until you are happy with yourself, you cannot be happy with anyone else. I know this one from experience.

Ellie has started a challenge called My Happy Life. Click this link to read the simple rules My Happy Life. Just write about what makes your life happy, and what gets you through the rough times. In turn, this should help someone out there going through difficult times. That is what I hope for anyway. And that is what life is all about. Helping each other.

I chose Hope for my post today. This rosebud from Dustin’s spring garden gives me hope. The little raindrop was a bonus. Without hope, we have nothing. Again, we all must find what works for us to get us through. Reading quotes are a big help to me. And of course nature helps me tremendously, in so many ways. Sharing a few quotes that are inspiring to me…

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin. ~William Shakespeare

Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature. ~Steve Maraboli

No matter how difficult life gets, the important thing to remember is to live it with hope. ~Topanga (Boy Meets World)

Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.  ~Helen Keller

Hope has two beautiful daughters – their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are. ~St. Augustine

When the world says, Give up, Hope whispers, Try it one more time. ~Anonymous

  1. Beautiful bud off hope from Dustin’s garden, Carol. And isn’t St. Augustine’s quote a surprise, with its description of anger as beautiful? I understand how he means it, but still 🙂

  4. I will answer you so dear friend: Is there a better remedy for the wounded soul of hope? Is there better comfort for the broken heart of hope? Is there a better promise for the wasted life of hope?
