Northern Mockingbird on the Deck

There are many birds in my backyard this time of year. I have seen many nests and babies this year as well. Still no bluebird babies, but I have not given up. They are waiting on the robins to leave. Also, I have seen only a few mockingbirds around. But have found no nest, not yet anyway.

Snapped this photo of a mockingbird that landed on my deck privacy fence. They are incredible birds. They can imitate other birds and car alarms, phones, etc. Very intelligent. But never noisy too.

      • Haha … I see … I always miss the action…
I only notice when my bird was jumping crazily in his cage…
then I got there, I saw a bird just take off …
But the other day, I saw a pigeon very near to his cage… (at my window)
and he was on the floor of the cage, furthest away from the “stealer”…

  2. Sparrows, ravens, pigeons are what I commonly see flying here and there in the improvised garden that the girls set up on the 3rd floor of the house outside the bedroom. And yes, stingless bees with honeycomb.
