I tried to publish an article saved in the Draft and found that I cannot do this because the editing option has disappeared. I think it may be a consequence of the complaints made against me, because of the edited posts. Is it just my case or has this option disappeared for everyone?

I had the edit button some weeks ago but have not tried to edit anything these last few days so have no idea. Maybe we are no longer allowed to edit posts ourselves.
I hope we have the option to edit at least the Draft.
I do edit that which I have sent to the draft folder by copy pasting it into a new page.
Never heard of a writing site where edit option is not there after preview This must be temporary but in the meantime you can send your posts to the draft folder, open it and copy it into a new page and do editing where necessary.
Yes, I know that, but there will be many drafts that we cannot delete. This could slow down the site, which is already very slow.(I’m not sure that’s how it is but that’s how I thought)
I have no problems with the site being slow.

I have not tried to edit any of my post lately, so I do not know about that. Hope all will be fixed soon for everyone.
My English is not great, so I’m working with Draft to make the necessary corrections.
This is the second day without being able to post a quiz. We are all having this problem. Hopefully a fix is coming soon.
I hope it will be fix, if not, I hope you will find a way to post a quiz.
I see some quizzes and that means it is possible
it is gone for most as far as I can tell.

i suspect it is better that way for now. They could fix the issues and release it again!
Do you remember? I said once that if the admins consider that it is not beneficial for the site to edit the posts, they will remove the option!
i do remember that – I was confident that they would remove it, it was promoting the wrong answer.
we are losing authors, We are losing views.
we have to work together to get both back!
Maybe admins considered that editing was not always used to correct broken posts …. who knows!
It was actually one of the top asks (in July) that we as a community made. They actually gave us 6 of the 7 tops asks from those posts!

Some of us work with the draft and need the edit button.
I never used to do that ever since I became a verified user but now because of some template issues our poll questions do not appear and for that we need the draft
Same here. We need that as invariably when we publish we need to edit it as the poll questions do not appear sometimes.
Lately, I have seen the answers appear, properly.

All we can do is hope that they will fix this error soon.
It’s affecting me too. It’s annoying because I always save to drafts first.
I have some saved drafts that I can’t use.
Me too. I don’t really want to re-add them either.
Disappeared for me too 🙁 Of more concern for me is that I cannot save a draft of any quiz or poll. It is impossible to safely publish a quiz without first previewing it, and you cannot preview without saving draft…
I hope they will fix this problem soon and so we can enjoy your quizzes.
If you save the draft and don’t close the page, won’t you be able to still publish the post?
No, because the post disappears. From what I noticed, in my case, the post appears saved in the draft but I no longer have access to publish it.

Yes, that was exactly what I found. So I really cannot post any quiz at all 🙁
Some people are having issues. It doesn’t appear to be systemwide at this point. Perhaps it’s just hasn’t reached every level yet. At any rate we can see this post and comment on it so you are in business, congrats!

Yes, this morning I edited two and then I went to work.
I could also edit in the morning but now I can’t. I’m glad you still have the editing option!
I haven’t done anything since I got back from work. I guess if it goes away I will lots of time to get caught up on comments. I will see what happens.
Pfff! I feel better now. I thought this was just my case. Anyway I only have two or three broken posts that should be edited. Worse is that I can no longer use the Draft!
