It’s time the expression ‘ Fighting like cats and dogs’ is removed forever from our minds

This picture says it all.  Not just this picture but pets that we had have also proved that cats and dogs can be best of friends.  Our dog – a Bull Terrier,  Robo used to be licked clean by Kitty our cat after his bath .  She would cover up what he did in the garden just as she covered her own.  And Robo would supervise her delivery.  Pick up those babies from the basket and give them each a lick.

I can write a book about the camaraderie between cats and dogs that have come in my life and also the various stories I have read on the Net.

It is time therefore we stop  putting  cats and dogs in grooves and say that they cannot get along.

I have been writing for various sites some of which have disappeared.  I have several interests including writing, photography, gardening, reaching out, cooking.  I have a blog which needs a bit of revamping and when I get some time I will go there and do justice.

I love people and have been responsible for getting together several groups such as class mates, seniors, orphaned kids and family

  1. All my dogs and cats used to live with each other. Of course most of them grew up together or were introduced to each other as puppies or kittens. It is a great sight just like your picture to watch them getting along, play fight together and sleeping together on the same bed which by the way was my bed. I miss Tasha still but Runt is making up for her departure to doggy heaven…

  2. I have seen cats and dogs getting well together. I grew up in a family where we had cats and dogs and they got along well.
I watched a YouTube video of wild animals helping other wild animals from danger e.g. a bear saving a bird.
