Dog Breeds: Which Ones Do You Prefer?

There are many dog breeds than cat breeds. While cats surpass dogs in terms of population, dogs have out numbered cats in terms of breeds.

There are different criterion used by organizations to determine a dog breed. One such criteria is whether a breed of dog is purebred or not. Thus, the breeds of dogs vary from 192 to 340.

  1. There are a few dog breeds I really like. I especially like Labrador Retriever as I used to have one. I also like Siberian Husky and German Shepherd.

  2. All dogs are beautiful for sure but I prefer larger breed dogs because I do not have to bend so much to pet them etc. I have a bad back. I think I would not get another purebred dog as most of them suffer from ailments and health problems much more than mixed breed. I still miss Princesse and Belle and Tasha. They were each one my best friend and companion and coach as they would take me out for a walk.

  3. There are some breeds there that I have never heard of, and others that I would definitely not give house room to – the ones that my wife and I call “rats on strings” when we see them out in public!
