Here is my candle wick flower for the Color Crazy Challenge by Kim. These flowers are waxy shinny and bright yellow.
Yellow brings sunshine, light and warmth into anyplace. I would consider it too bright a color for a room and yet a splash of yellow in the form of flowers or cushions or accessories do brighten up the room.
We had planted a row of yellow cana flowers on the sidewalk of the road in front of my house. They always brightened up our street even on gloomy, cloudy days like today. However, the cable company decided that they wanted to dig the whole row of flowers to lay their cables. I may plant them all over again if I find the energy to do it. But right now I am not going out in this clammy weather.

I love yellow but not that much to paint home
How cool is this. I really like it, it reminds me of a Palo Verde and a Mimosa. I bet the yellow Cannas were gorgeous.
I used to live in a pale yellow house, it wasnt so bad. I think I would have to draw the line on a school bus yellow.
We have these flowers in the vicinity but I did not know their name. Nice name.
