We can do it! - WIP

Rosie the Riveter has been pretty popular around here, so here is her latest installment that I hope you’ve been looking forward to

Finally, she has a giant robot to work on! As usual, I am having issues trying to frame a small girl and a giant robot in the same composition. Here my solution was to put the robot in the background, but that still doesn’t work well until a DoF effect starts to push the robot and bulkheads out of focus

it's a nice start, nothing wrong with it but you know me better than to think I am going to stop here

  I really thought I’d need to cool the background down

#2 hdr treatment

of course, HDR is the opposite of blurring so the background snapped back into focus a bit

Now the background is out of focus again and a little more cooled to help it recede further. She stays sharp to keep her popped into the foreground. What say you?

not sure, don’t see too much diff between hdr and raw…
but it could be me :p
