While out in my yard earlier I noticed how the Sycamore tree has gotten most of its leaves now. Amazing how that happens so quickly. All of the rain we have had helps I am sure. This is such a cool tree. It seems to grow taller each year. I can see one of my big tulip polar trees behind it, and it looks short compared to this tree.
I snapped this photo while looking up to the top. Of course it is so huge, I could not get it all in the photo. I will take more of the entire tree later. The sun was trying to shine through but there are so many leaves, I only saw a glimmer of the sun here and there.
I need to do a quiz on these trees. There is so much to learn about them. Sycamore also symbolizes strength, eternity and divinity. And many of you know it is also mentioned in the bible. This tree has been around forever. I am glad to have one in my yard.

It is kind of funny. I went to one of your collections and opened and I found something I had never seen before (At least I don’t recall it.) I wonder how much I have missed.
This tree is mentioned in the Bible as far as I remember

I think I have a picture. The bark of this tree is also very interesting. It is similar to a military camouflage. Is that what I am or I am confused with Carol.
Yes I shared the bark awhile back here but can share it again. That is the most interesting part of the Sycamore.

There are many Sycamore trees near the place I live in. I like them.
That is great, they are wonderful trees.
We have some platanus in the park but I did not know they also are called Sycamore.
So is that what they are called in your world?

According to the picture, this tree grows also with us … we are called Platinum by us … the leaf is on the Canadian flag … is this the tree?
No, that would be a Maple tree. The leaves do look similar. But maples are a reddish color, this one is green.
