5. Awe, and what a perfect Title. I love that song, well I cant really think of one of his I don’t like. I do know some facts about this little girl and rain. Birds do not like the rain and will take shelter from it, except for hummers. They face starvation so they have to, whether rain or shine have to keep going, they cannot afford to take shelter.

   • Thanks Kim, it was definitely a challenge to get this photo. But was so worth it. I have seen other birds in the rain but now that you mention it, the hummingbirds seem the most active. Thanks for sharing!

    • This one is so tiny I am surprised how well he enjoys the rain.
      It as so cool, he would sit and just ruffle his tiny feathers, preen (clean his feathers),
      and just seemed to be having a good time

      • Sounds like what my father’s pet bird would do after a great bath!
        I’m surprise at how these birds love water!
        I thought they drench them and made them unable to fly
