Snapped a sunset from the front yard last summer. Part of the smoke bush is at the bottom as well as my cedar tree to the left. Funny how there are different views with each season.
Little things continue to make my days happy. Some need big shiny things in their lives. I prefer the small things and all that nature provides.
Reminds me of a Shania Twain song… That Don’t Impress Me Much. I will share that one soon.

Lovely as usual, I never tire of watching sunsets or looking at photos.
Thank you so much Dawn for your kindness.
I like a little harder music…
I like many genres. But this one came to mind because of the lyrics.
I was tagged by Ghostwriter to read this post which I missed apparently. Beautiful and breathtaking sunset photo. Of course I know Shania Twain. After all she is Canadian right. I do not really remember that song in particular but I know that I just love her voice and most of her lyrics..
Yes she is Canadian. Amazing artist. Those lyrics come to mind often. I just posted the video. And thanks for visiting! This sunset was from the front, a different perspective.
I might recall that song but not sure. Like the sunset.
I plan to write a post about it today.
I remember that song. In fact, sometimes I burst out and sing it.
Oh that is so funny, I love the lyrics!
I love this amazing sunset! It looks so great I thought you edited it somehow, but it is just how great you are at taking sunset pictures.
Thanks, it was taken from the front for a change this summer. You are so kind, no edits here.
can’t say that I have ever heard that song. Love the picture, the mix of bushes and sky makes a solid shot!
I will share the video and you probably will recognize it. Thanks, I was surprised at how this one came out from the front porch.
i am not surprised, I’ve seen many of your pictures over the years!
I enjoy snapping and sharing, thank you for being so kind.
That is a very lovely photo. The bush or tree on the left-hand side almost looks like it has a small cross on top of it. I do remember that song.
Thank you. I never noticed it before, just needs trimming I guess. It is a cedar, there is one on each end of the house. Cool song.
We have over 100 head of elk out in the pasture, they aren’t little, but we are sure enjoying the nature. I love the picture.
Oh my that sounds breathtaking, you need a camera or a phone and snap some photos, doesn’t matter what they look like, just snap and share!
Thanks, a different view from the front.
I will have my brother do it. He has a camera.
That would be so exciting to see! Wow! 🙂
Beautiful sunset. Unfortunately, I don’t know this song.
Thank you. No problem, the song is several years old.
What a beautiful view and capture. About the song, yes, I have heard it.
Thanks, and good to know you recognize the song.
Nice photo!
I don’t listen much to Non-Chinese songs …
But I bet it’s a nice song!
Thanks and I will share it soon. You might like it.
Sure, will be anticipating the post 🙂
Unfortunately, I do not know these songs, dear Carol
That is ok, I will share a link soon for you to listen.
I know that song, I like Shania Twain a lot.
That is so cool, she used to be a favorite.
Such a beautiful capture! I love Shania Twain.
Thanks and I like her too. She used to be a favorite.
Very nice photo.
Thank you Carol.
Good to see you Robin. Thank you and hope you are doing well.
