Was out riding around yesterday. As I crossed these train tracks, I stopped and stared into the distance.
I was instantly back to a simple time in life. The good times when we would walk across train tracks. Then into the woods. Always picked wildflowers for my Mom.
She would always seemed so surprised and happy when my brother and I returned with her special bouquet just for her. She had a special vase for the flowers and they sat in the middle of the dining room table. We felt very proud.
Then I edited the photo to make it appear antique. Back in the day. That is where my mind took me when I stared.
Amazing what a few moments of forgetting the present and allowing your mind to relax can do to your mind, body and soul. Another type of meditation I often practice. Remembering and escaping to the good times.
I hope you can find an escape from the troubles in the world today.
