We can consider ourselves pretty experienced in the matter of sleeping, but let’s be honest- nobody does it better than cats. They could lecture that subject in the University. Cats can sleep literally everywhere. There is neither awkward place, nor position when it comes to napping. And any time is good enough to rest for a minute or two…. hours. Considering cats spend about 66% of their lives in sleeping, these claims are not exaggerated. That stands both for wild and domestic cats. Their habits are pretty much the same, only size differs. And a size doesn’t matter.

Yes, cats can sleep anywhere for sure. I do not have a cat, but am thinking about getting 1 as a pet, I love cats. The photo’s are lovely.

cats are famous for sleeping, but dogs are quite adept at napping and stretching…
Since I have both cats and dogs, I think that cats are absolute winners in all categories regarding sleeping. 😀

I learned a lot about stretching from watching my dog
I know I can’t complete the required hours of sleep every day because of my work which requires me to travel for several hours. When it comes to cats, yes I always see my cat, Pitou sleeping just about anywhere. There are even times when she would come to me and while I am talking some sweet nothings, I could see her slowly falling asleep.
I envy them so much on that talent. 😀 As a fellow cat owner, you know what I mean. 🙂
I sleep less often, not because of insomnia, but because of limited time for that. But if I can sleep in their warm fluffy midst, maybe I don’t care to get up soon.
Quite understandable for a parent of two newborn kitties. 🙂
UUhhhhh… with two newborn kittens my sleep decreases…
But in a few months, you’ll have a nice company for napping. 😀
That’s what I thought so far everytime gave ’em the milk
as an insomniac, I rarely get enough sleep

Very expert sleepers there. I must be part cat, as I can sleep at the drop of a hat, but any small amount of light will wake me up. Then I go right back to sleep, however.

Oh, and I like it very warm when I sleep. My cats used to love to sleep on the trunk on my car when I got home from work in a cold climate. They liked the heat from the radiator.

Absolutely delighted with your sleeping fluffy beauties!!! Usually have enough sleep, but can have problems with fast falling asleep because of noise or light. Prefer to sleep in a warm, but well-ventilated room.

And that is absolutely true. 🙂 Right now, I am typing while the youngest kitten, Phoebe, is sitting literally on my neck and other cats are sleeping all around me. 🙂 One big, happy family. 😀
One thing I notice about cats is one of them likes to sleep next to the dog and they look cute sleeping in the living room at night.
They all like to sleep next to dog. Or me. 😀
That is a good idea since dogs and cats who live under the same roof is great despite their differences of being hostile to each other.
I always say: if animals are well fed there’s no reason to be hostile to each other. Animals recognize only needs and act according to them. They don’t know anything about hostility, hatred, or animosity. These are all terms made by people.

I sleep only at night about 7 hours on average. I never sleep over the day.I tried sleeping afternoon, but I just can not …
