Love ItLove It

none, shall pass

I am the gatekeeper. The one

that closing the last

keeps them out.

the them that we keep out

to be pushed away

to be left

on the outside.

They are the last

the first

the outcasts

of the dream.

I am the gatekeeper

standing guard against

the slippery

ones who slide beneath doors

or fly over walls.

I am the gatekeeper

i will not fail

no one

not a single one

shall pass.

  • Do you ever feel like you are a gatekeeper?

  1. I can identify with this. And rightly so should every father, friend or anyone who considers themselves neighbor or community.
Although on the humorous side (which is no offense to your poem), if Trump got a hold of this piece, it’s quite likely that the Lords prayer could be replaced. LOL
