Thanks to everyone that voted yesterday! Today we have many more (adding the ones from the comments). I also broke communication from the admins into a couple of options. This is the last post where you can vote on everything. Remember, all of these came from one of your co-authors on the site, so please don’t belittle or say nasty things about any one of the asks. The next post and last in the series will be the compilation vote on your top four. But this is your chance to vote for the ones that you think should be carried forward. Only the top five vote-getting questions will be carried forward. I will, of course, send this post to the admins with the poll results on Wednesday!
How many of these things impact you? I know that not having access to drafts and draft posts has changed a lot of you (I forgot to include it in the first post, my apologies). It is included now! In the comments, let me know what improvement/use case there would be for the drafts folder. What do we need to be able to do with the content in that folder?
Social media style blocking is the intent of blocking users’ questions. If you block a user on Twitter, Facebook, or others, they cannot interact with you at all. That blocking, if enough people block someone, also causes the site to contact the user to ask why so many people have blocked them.
I will end with returning the edit function. I know there are many older posts that people would like to edit, people would like to re-add the pictures back to. Based on that, I would propose the following. Return the edit button, but once you do that, the post becomes snew. You don’t lose the comments, but you don’t go right into the top commented list. That way, jobs that are edited can shine, or not shine on their own merits.

I want to receive virilys when I see and comment other posts.
They took that away because of the issue of over commenters. (people that comment once and never return to just get virils)
Well, they have decided that he will do the surgery in June. They are replacing two heart valves. It’s probably a good thing that I was not involved in any of the decision makings. We do have to provide his very expensive medications and take them to the hospital as they won’t use what his doctor requires, unbelievable. But I won’t say a negative word to him.

I answered almost all the questions in Yes. Since you are our computer science teacher, I have a question that is not clear to me. When I share my facebook posts in stories and have about 25 people saw and liked this post. Does this affect my viruses? Or should I open the post itself in virily?
to get the credit it has to be opened in Virily. You don’t and the author doesn’t get credit for liking the link in Facebook

I would like them to do a few things other than have the draft option. I need a button to save my work as I write.
I don’t like my posts to disappear, three posts have gone into limbo in the last couple of weeks.
Don’t use different yard sticks fro different folks. My post had a quote and it was pushed to drafts, but there are some posts with only quotes in them.
i wish you had pinged me I was collecting missing posts a week ago! i will add your name to the list of authors that have had posts disappear.
so far some of the missing posts have returned.

I am OK with a save button or save draft. One of my missing post returned I re posted it, let me see how it goes, no posts have been approved as yet today. I haven’t seen the other two.

Drafts are very important, however, if I am satisfied I don’t use it. Sometimes I make spelling mistakes.
i wish my spelling mistakes were sometimes! i would love the edit button back with the rules listed so I could fix some of the bad spelling on my older posts!

This over 8 megs image suggestion keeps sneaking in, but won’t heavier photos make the site even slower?
As for drafts, I wish they come back to their normal state. Saving, editing, and publishing whenever one is ready.
browsers don’t show the full image so bigger pictures won’t make the site slower. What it does do is increase the cost of storage!

I said yes to all questions except for the last one. High-resolution images would impact the speed of the site. We are not selling our photos for print anyways.
Imagine this if 100 people would view 8MB images (same or different) at a time. That’s 800MB that’s going to clog-up the bandwidth
the assumption, of course, is that the browser shares more than the thumbnail in the process. The browser doesn’t.
the argument would be more fitting to say 4 megs times 1000 pictures costs less per month by a lot than the cost of 8 megs times 1000 pictures.

This is a great list or suggestions. As I mentioned earlier I do not use blocking. Any other suggestions would be very helpful.

I can’t answer the fifth question because I’ve never blocked anyone on social media.
I answered “Yes” to number six despite the fact that I had helped some people who wished I had commented on their posts.
All other questions I answer with Yes.
i don’t understand that people telling you to comment if they comment. It has happened to me twice here and both times I just didn’t read that person posts anymore.

Some people ask for my comments via private messages, not in comments.
I think 1, 3, 8 and 9 are important to me.
Interestingly, i have had several authors reach out to me about that and I’ve sent those on to the admins.
that isn’t a nice way to be a community member.
I agree with you, the problem is I can’t avoid them, I sometimes want to help those who lack understanding of the rules of the game or have not been able to do well.
i do as well, but the issue of sending a message asking for comments is not really a good one.
in the end, it places their needs above the needs of all.
I love to help authors move into our community and bring their voice to more people. But if someone does that to me, and some have, I don’t read their posts anymore.
i am a little more hardline than you are my friend.
Usually, I will gradually tell them what they should be doing here, at least through my perspective so that they stay motivated. I understand that you are firmer than me, dear friend.

for me I don’t mind when people bother me. It is when they do it to others that I have to make sure it stops.
