I have two sons, two grandchildren and one granddaughter. I always wanted a daughter. Now I have my little princess (my granddaughter) and she’s a candy cat. But I think father-daughter relationship is more healthy and special. That’s the way it is between my son and his daughter.

Being a parent is scary. Arriving at a balance is difficult. However, the fruits of raising a child are worth remembering for the rest of the years.
I have been escaping myself from immersing in parental responsibility for many years. This time, I can’t escape. Soon I’m going to be a father??-
congratulations – you have a many year journey ahead of you that has happy, sad and delight in it!

Great pictures. Parents have a huge responsibility to try and mold the child into a responsible adult without snuffing out that flame of individuality.

Everything you say is true, even though I am not a parent. We see through a glass darkly but one day everything will be clear.

we shall see, thanks – I haven’t seen one of the girls in many years. It will be nice to see how they both have grown. They are bringing their husbands which makes me feel very old.

It is only a passing comment I got from one of his talks. But it has truth in it really. And it is not only Osho who expressed that view. Many mystics share the same perspective only worded differently.

Osho said that the only difference between an adult and a child is that the former knows more survival tricks than the latter. I believe the child born to any parent has already inherent qualities that are unique to them. Sometimes I wonder what will happen to a kid if adults just let them be. I never like to be a parent. It is a scary job.

Yep. You are right. At least I can tell from observation. You were from Niume, too, right? Arts? I have a good memory for names usually.

I met you in Niume too, Doc ?. But the time you really caught my heart was when Niume boat was about to sink and you tried to help in keeping the community alive. Character traits like that get me. Always. ??

Very observant of you, Niume, Blogbourne, Bubblews, some others all the way back to, (Wikinut, one of my favorite sites.) I have at least left my Tranquilpen mark kind of embedded on the internet. I joined your Facebook page yesterday.

I have read your stuff for a long time now! You and Albert were my go to deep thinking posters. Then Howard started and I had three. Then you went away for a bit, Howard went away from a bit.
I love thinking!

Thanks for the follow, Andre. I will try and read your stuff here. Just that these days I have less free time. But Doc here is always patient with me. He is the best pal to have in blogosphere plus his comments are always sensible ?
