This is from 2016 on this day.
I remember it well. It was raining and I wanted to go for a drive in a park nearby and watch the storm.
Here are a few of those photos. The prickly pear I used for the cover.
and what was blooming under them.
From in the car, you can see the storm approaching and these pretty flowers..
as the storm cloud breaks, you can see it starting to rain, and the wind picked up as you can see from the tree on the right. It is supposed to stand straight.
The rain had almost reached the car.. this huge flowering bush must of loved it.
The rain finally reaches the park.
And it didn’t take long for the rain gutters to fill.
After the storm broke I noticed some African Daisies that were loving it. Â We always need all the rain we can get.

I love the rain, especially the scent from the earth on a hot day when it just starts poring down. Great pics! Its fascinating how many different shades of green are out there in nature
