Snapped a photo of the Dude chilling in the screen room. I bring leaves in often for both cats to play with. Neither of my cats go outdoors. So I always try to bring some of the outdoors to them.
Brendel was snoozing in a chair while he was playing and listening.
He was mesmerized by the sound of the leaves falling and the wind yesterday. Did not realize the shadows in the photo until I uploaded the photo. This one was taken with my iPhone.

Dude is one very smart cat and has some authority too.
Yes he tries to have authority but Brendel will not allow it. 🙂

we have a dog like that (raven) if you take a picture of anything, you have to take a picture of her as well!!!

Usually cold weather is coming.
He seems quite engrossed. Cats love to play with anythign that moves. Pinkie caught birds in succession for 3 days We had to run after her till she dropped the bird and we saved those 3 birds, on each day.
This is what I am glad mine stay indoors, the birds are safe. They both enjoy the leaves.
Our cats are free to move around. We do keep a watch
Both of mine are declawed on the front, so they are not safe outdoors.

Dude does not know what he is missing because he is not going out. Is there any specific reason for not going out?
Yes, he has no front claws, declawed before I adopted him. Sadly someone did this as a kitten and then he went to a shelter. Same with my other cat.
Thank you, Carol. When I read the answer, I’m reminded that you have already mentioned. Given that, it’s really better to keep your cat safe in the apartment.
You are very welcome. I am sure this is why he was hard to adopt. I am glad to give him a home, and Brendel. They cannot protect themselves outside.
