Very bad. Extremely bad. I should have taken my time – was in a hurry
Some of these were a bit subtle! I just tried it myself again and got a couple wrong 😮
One does it a second time to learn and not to score (lol)
This time I got a 7. Got the British anduniversal confused
I got 7 out of 13
great quiz
Hey, that’s passable! It’s quite tricky – thanks for playing 🙂
6 out of 13….I really tried. Fun quiz!
It’s harder than it looks, isn’t it! Hey, Part 2 is coming soon, so maybe you’ll claw back some points there 🙂
nice content i love it
omg this is cool i lve this thing
got 7 out of 13 right!
it’s a pass, Edith! Thanks for playing 🙂
I found it entertaining! hahaha
Well that is certainly the main thing 🙂
9/13 – I found it easy to pick out the American spelling. Not so simple to differentiate between European and universal spellings though
Right. Yes, that well analysed (analyzed?) Thanks for taking the quiz 🙂
i like it but it is just estimate not sure answers
That’s how it goes 🙂 Thanks for playing!
I try, but I got only four points, next time i will try my best.
Never mind the score! I’m sure you will do better in part 2, Adnan 🙂
sigh… only 9 right. Should have known better.
Oh, Ginny, nine is nothing to feel bad about. Go easier on yourself ☺
I got 7 correct out of 13 and 6 false
That’s a pass, Wasim 🙂
it is fun we all enjoye it
10/13 – but it should have been more! It`s the “universal” category that causes confusion!
It sure does! I had no idea the situation was so non-binary before I researched this. Perhaps you can claw back some of your honour in part 2 🙂
got 6/13…very nice quiz …good job Norman 😉
Glad you enjoyed it, Trafalgar. Thanks for playing 🙂
not good score in this, but fun.
Fun is the main thing, Yugocean 🙂
8-13 ouch, I thought i would do better. Great idea for a quiz, as always.
Harder than you’d expect! Thanks, Kim 🙂
I got 7 out of 13 right! O teacher, give me a pass even if the results are inadequate. Please…
50% is a pass in my quizzes! But only on condition you calculate what exact percentage you got ✖➗??
Oh, okay, just relax sir, I never wrong in counting! 7 out of 13 = 7/13!
That’s not a percentage – it’s a fraction!
You got 9 out of 13 right!
Great! Spelling must be your speciality – or is it your specialty?
Not sure if spelling is a specialty after this score. It is the Universal vs British that caused my downfall. American spellings are relatively easier to guess..
That’s a very good observation, DW. Until I researched this quiz, I would not have recognised most of those universal spellings as such.
I got 9 out of 13 I guess it helps to have a lot of British friends, and watch a lot of British TV shows
Yes I think so. I suppose the Philippines falls under American influence in spelling?
Not ashamed of 9/13 but thought I would do better…live and learn! 🙂 A fun quiz.
That is a very good attitude: live and learn! Thanks for playing, Roberta 🙂
Seven out of 13 in this quiz.
You scraped a pass! Thanks for playing, DPG 🙂
Haha, yes, exactly that!
This quiz is tough for me. I don’t know much about the difference between British and American English unless it is spoken.
Lol. I need to learn more. Challenge me more, quiz master, Norman.
With pleasure, Cassy 😀 😀 I believe that in Europe we have more exposure to both varieties, so it gives us an advantage!
10/13, good one Norman! 🙂
Thank you, Carol! Nice score 🙂 The hardest ones, I find often, are those that are common to all Englishes.
11/13, but at least I learnt a new word! Haha, awesome quiz!
I wonder which one! Well done, Ellie 🙂
Haha, “Unparalleled” was new to me…
Ah, okay! несравним?
