Budapest or Bucharest?

People often confuse these two cities, and even famous artists like Michael Jackson, Iron Maiden, Lenny Kravitz, and Metallica have confused them during concerts. What’s more, 400 Atheltic Bilbao fans arrived at Budapest instead of Bucharest for the Europa League Fnal a few years ago.

  26. 6/8 – I was in both earlier this year although I just spent a couple of hours late one night in Bucharest before hopping on a train to Cluj in northern Romania.

    I spent a few days in Budapest however and it really is a magically beautiful city. You could never get bored there, it really is amazing!
