First of all, the views have stabilized. They are better now than they were a month ago, but worse than they were back in October. We’ve had several authors leave in that period, all of whom drove a lot of other posts and views. (Alex Ledante, Albert H.W. are two examples). Based on the lost new posts from those two and a few other authors that have left, we are down overall. That is, of course, a massive concern because making up authors who averaged 30 to 50 views a day is challenging. However, after three months of using my new concept, I can honestly tell you that it works. If you do the simple things, I have been writing about for the past three months work!
- Try to comment on as many posts as you can.
- If someone comments on your post, reply!
- Make sure you take the time to reply to all replies, even if it is not your post!
Here is the reality of what communities have to do. We have to work together. If someone comments on a post that makes you uncomfortable – report the post. If someone sends you a PM that makes you awkward report that author. We, as a community has to move forward positively. #letsgooutwithabang. If we want to continue, we have to work together.
As my father taught me, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!
I will end with this fascinating cautionary tale. Yes, upvotes and downvotes are interacting with a post when you don’t comment though you take something from the author. If you downvote someone’s posts and then say “don’t interact with me,” you show a side of yourself that isn’t what you want the world to think of you. That behavior (I can do it but you can’t) isn’t practical and doesn’t help the community at all.
Simply sometimes, saying I am sorry takes away a lot of mistakes, right?

Fifi Leigh puts out great things pertaining to what’s going on in society. We listen to the same psychic and Fifi typically puts out what the psychic talks about. i find the information shared about Bill Gates to be horribly inaccurate so I stopped reading any of those posts.
I do care about BLM and movements. But there is no conspiracy involved Bill Gates and the pandemic, or for that matter anyone else in Warren Buffest Billionaire club.
they have all pledged, and are giving away their fortunes.
I find her posts quite delusional. She promotes conspiracy theories where celebrities are cannibals, the current coronavirus is a ‘phony virus’ , and Jews are taking control of the world. Many of her posts are deeply racist, anti-BLM and anti-semitic. However, looking at her posts she has close to zero views, so I don’t exercise myself too much about it.
i would ask then since you feel that way, why you haven’t done anything about it?

i was focused on other issues at the time. My issue is the reality of see it, report it. i don’t see it, more because I engaged once and she got very angry. I had enough people on this site angry with me.
So i stepped away from that fight and focused on other fights.
Fair enough. We all have stuff going on and we can’t always engage 100% in a difficult situation, I fully appreciate that. But in this matter I have found admin quite responsive and decisive on several occasions.
i would say they (the admin team) were not responsive on the two issues I brought up. In both cases, they made the changes required to stop the behavior but it took them 3 months of my staying after it.
I am not, nor do I wish to be the police of this site or any other site!
Alex sneaks in every now and then. He even sends me a random Tweet sometimes too.

I am so used to being careful about spam because of other sites so it’s hard sometimes to transition to this concept you describe.
it does and will work though if your goal is to make a little money here. But the side is not just you make money, everyone makes money if we pull together.
So, Alex and Albert officially left, huh? No wonder I haven’t seen any new posts from them lately. There are also some authors that I haven’t seen lately. I hope they come back soon.
i think Albert is in a time issue rather than leaving forever. Alex is pretty much gone. Kim is also pretty much gone.
My time is a lot more limited than it used to be, but I do try to participate whenever I get a chance.

I still hope the situation on the website will turn for the better. That is why I persevere and work as much as my time allows.

She is a real trooper. You can count on her. In the times we live in it’s hard to find those you can count on. There are so many things going on it takes a lot more effort to participate.
