Today, June 21st, marks the first day of summer in the US. And it is coming in with a bang. When you add the humidity, we will be in the triple digits. Yes that is right, over 100 degrees F. We have seen 90 degrees in the past few weeks. Seems like we skipped right over spring this year.
Welcome summer. Ready or not it is here. Not my favorite time of the year. I will be inside most of the time when it is this hot. I prefer the cooler weather. The good side of summer is enjoying all of the blooms in my garden. They seem to prefer the heat.

Most part of the year is summer here.
I do not like summer weather.
Officially being the key word here. I am freezing and damp. Yuck. Our June gloom continues. Everything is very green though. Pool time for you!
Oh my, I will be over shortly. 🙂 We have had severe storms, which is not helping the humidity. And now another front is coming in. It is like a sauna outside.
My country only has two seasons, wet and dry. But I was able to experience spring in Oz and winter in Korea. I would say spring is the best season because it means new beginning ?
What about temperatures, hot or cold or warm?

It is summer time around this year and that means high humidity that will drive one to shower more than twice a day.
My favorite weather – cool and NOT raining.

while walking dogs, umbrella and leash is annoying! But cool with rain is better than hot with well humidity!
Winter officially was June the 1st for New Zealand.

I like to enjoy every weather because every weather has their own charm.
Not me, I can do without the heat and humidity to where you can hardly breathe outside.
Rainy parts of summer………..
Rain is good but it is the heat and humidity I could do without. But it is what it is.
I would go with Spring since it is end of Winter. Summer is a close second since it is vacation time.
We skipped spring, went from winter to summer. 🙁

high 70s to low 80s, next to no humidity…
I am close, I prefer 60s and zero humidity.
Fall is my favorite season. Cool, crisp temps and changing leaves.
Yes I love fall as well with the crisp weather.
I have the summer even though I do not tolerate good fever.

We’ve no season here … so well, I like warm weather but not too hot… maybe slightly cloudy days
That would take some getting used to, no seasons. I like cool and cloudy.
So it is always warm? or cold? or both?
Generally we’re hot and warm throughout … 76°F to 89°F
our “seasons” (as some considers) are define by changes in temperature, like
we have more rain end of year, and is slightly colder (year end is winter in some countries with seasons) … and some call that “winter” :p
Our “spring” is marked by CNY which is also known as the “spring festival” …

Spring is really my favourite season, but I love summer too as I like the warm weather. Here in England, it’s been very warm today, so I’m pleased with that. =)

I prefer spring or autumn. During these seasons I like the temperature not very warm nor very cold.
Yes me too, but it seems we had no spring, went right to summer.
The in between temperatures are my favorite. But it seems to go from one extreme to another.
