While out and about the other day I saw this beautiful fuchsia colored flower. Had to snap a few photos with my phone. The flower is not real but the color really caught my eye.
Fuchsia is a nice color, especially on flowers. They really stand out in the garden. My roses are a bright pink but not exactly fuchsia. I used to grow Fuchsia flowers indoors. They didn’t make it for some reason. I should get more. I really enjoy this color. It brightens the day.

So pretty. Fushia was one of my dads favorites. I was just thinking of what kind of vine plant to go on my fence…. I had completely forgotten about these. 🙂 Great shots of the silk too, I thought it was real.
Looks like I did spell it wrong. I looked it up on several sites and this is supposedly the correct spelling. Oh well. That is cool, your Dad’s favorite. It looked real in person too.
I never noticed the spelling and you did it twice. After looking I thought I had spelled it wrong. I thought there was a C in it, and I just missed it. I thought it was actually spelled Fucshia. Guess not.

Not quite a fan of too bright a pink colors but, yes, with flowers fuchsia would be tolerable ?

I really don’t care for silk flowers but those fuchsias you had look so lovely. I had some pale pink and purples too. They die out in this blazing heat.
Same here, that is why I took the photo, they looked very real.

My Mom always loved purple. I love all of the colors.
I would have never known about fuchsia if it wasn’t for wrestler Superstar Billy Graham in the 1980’s. He was one of the first wrestlers to wear fuchsia in the ring.
