It’s been a while since I posted anything about food. I am back with a delicious and simple apple oatmeal cake idea. It’s inspired by this recipe, although I didn’t follow the exact measurements and I changed a few ingredients. I used einkorn flour, and I also decreased the amount of fat and I replaced some of the butter with coconut oil. Actually, if you use only coconut oil, you can make the recipe without any animal products. Next time, I might add some grated pumpkin and desiccated coconut, I think it will turn out nice.

we made this on Sunday and it was fantastic! Although, we did have vanilla ice cream!
Oh, it would be even better with ice cream! I am planning to make it again soon, this time with pumpkin.
I will let the twins know, pumpkin is an awesome addition. They would eat pumpkin pie anytime day or night!
