I managed to paint this butterfly on a butterfly show I recently visited. What kind of butterfly is and how it is called unfortunately I do not know …. probably someone Virilya will recognize him.Butterflies belong to the class of insects. There are more than 150,000 species living in the world with the exception of antartics. In Slovenia there are about 180 species of daily and some over 1200 species of night butterflies. The butterflies have always been divided into day and night but although this division is not too sensible in some respects, many kinds of night butterflies are also active day by day. The body of the butterfly is composed of articles that form a framework in which the organs are. The body consists of a head, a breast and a hump. On the head are the most visible large eyes, consisting of hundreds of tiny vaginal eyelids. Insects do not only see visible light, but also ultraviolet rays and polarized light. In this way they also perceive water, living beings and orient themselves. On the head there are also sensors and a vacuum cleaner.

  1. I have seen the butterfly but I don’t know what is its name. In the current region I am living, there are plenty of butterflies of different mixed colours.
