Black & White Friday – Warwick's Pen & Ink of horse & cart

This is my husband’s Pen & ink and you can see a horse and cart. He spent a lot of time and effort into this.

My view of what we can do about climate change for each person. I am not suggesting we go back to horse & cart…

Recycle waste.

Grow plants, sow seeds..Compost food scraps.

Turn existing cars into electric cars, no waste…Dont buy plastic bags …

  1. Great picture, dear Pamela … I separate the waste but don’t recycle it … for a while now we don’t use plastic bags anymore … they are forbidden by law

    • Well, we don’t really have an effective way of recycling here. People survive as they can. We don’t separate any rubbish in our complex.
Really I think people should make a business of recycling.

      • I can’t believe that you do not separate waste … with us everything is separated …. paper, glass, bio-waste …. for each thing we have our own container

        • Well, some have a blue bin for recycled waste where they put plastic, glass paper and everything in it but honestly, in the end I don’t think any of it gets recycled at all, and it is not right.
Now in the country or parts not Auckland they have separate containers for paper plastic and glass.

Sadly we have one huge bin but with the junk people have to throw out, it costs money to put waste into Onehunga’s rubbish collection so it all goes there because we cant afford $15.00 a time.

  2. That’s a beautiful picture, the view of a countryside.
I usually don’t have things that require recycling but it’s a good alternative.

    • Yes, the facility to recycle is needed, our supermarkets no longer supply plastic bags which is a good thing. I am in a place where we don’t have the facility to separate things.
