Black & White Friday – My pen & Ink of Saruman the White

I often wonder if I did this on a drawing when finished the work.

The truth is, that I overworked this drawing in the beginning and ended up by compounded over working and it succeeded in being better.

Simple is easy and this is complicated, then Saruman the White was a complicated wizard as most of them are.

I met a man once who does magic shows for children, and he said to me, “The first thing I am telling you when I do magic, is that I am a liar!”

Yet the children and adults do have a lot of fun, which is the purpose of a magic man in any situation with children fun and entertainment.

The man who plays Saruman the White, was a brilliant actor, Christopher Lee. The man who wrote “Lord of the Rings” was a brilliant author, JRR Tolkien. The film maker who directed and created “Lord of the Rings” as a movie, also brilliant. Peter Jackson.

Art as a drawing is communication, a 3 D object on a 2 D piece of paper at the end of the day.

All magic, art, music and creative is a tool of communication and entertainment. It makes you think of something beyond the mowing of lawns, unblocking drains and general day to day chores.
