2020 Resolutions – My Happy List

This may be my last post for the year, so I just want to wish you a Happy New Year, and it’s hopefully a much better one than 2020.

I already wrote about some things I did in 2019, now it’s time to make some resolutions for next year. Here are the things I’d like to focus on during the new year.

Be more optimistic

Have a healthier lifestyle

Travel more

Advance in my career

Reduce plastic use

Be more social

What about you, do you have New Year’s resolutions? Do you think that sharing your goals helps you achieve them more easily? Some people say that sharing your goals helps you stick with them because of others’ expectations. On the other hand, research shows that thinking and talking about your goals produces the same biological reaction that achieving them does, and therefore you get the needed satisfaction from talking about your goals, and you no longer feel the need to act on achieving them.

If you want to join My Happy List challenge, just create lists about things that make you happy, and use “My Happy List” in the title. Check out some more topic ideas here.

May the New Year bring you happiness, peace, and prosperity. Wishing you a joyous 2020!

  1. Happy New Year, dear Ellie….i don’t make any vows and i have no specific plans …. i just wish for health … the second will be somehow

  2. Thank you for your heart-warming post. I do like making plans and lists. You know, “Man plans in his heart; And God orders or directs his steps.” I identify with and apply this wisdom.
