  1. It’s nice to afford to travel a lot. However, it’s best to make the most of what you have and enjoy. If you get the opportunity, go for it!
In NZ we are very isolated and most of those places are too expensive for me.

  2. I love your list, Gina! Apart from Alaska, I’ve been to all of those places several times 🙂 I lived in London for a number of years and it no longer holds any special charm for me (although it’s nice to return to once-familiar haunts after several years). If you visit Venice, make sure you go off-season, as pedestrian tourist traffic can be truly horrendous, and would spoil your visit. Greece I returned to earlier this month, after a break of twenty-something years, and it is as awe-inspiring as ever 🙂 Paris is of course eternally fabulous 😀
For myself, some of the places I’d really like to visit include New Zealand, South Africa and Cuba. Maybe I should make a post like yours — you’re such an inspiration 😀

    • Thank you very much, Norman! You’re so lucky! It’s my dream to travel Europe or live there. I would also love to visit South Africa and New Zealand but I want to travel Europe first. Maybe I’ll ask you or let you know before I go. I hope you’ll make a post like this

  3. Love your list, it is mine too, but AK. I mean don’t get me wrong, I would love to go back and visit, but only after a million other places. When I was a kid, through teens we went and visited my family who lived in Ketchikan, AK. Glacier Bay is a sight to see for sure. We went in my Uncles Charter Boat, and had a pro photog from the National Geographic Magazine, that had came along with us. We come upon this glacier that had started to crack. So my uncle took the boat into reverse and got back a good distance to watch the shelf come off. It was so spectacular that the photog forgot to raise the camera. There are all the colors of blue to green, purple, every cool color you can imagine, then some. Photographs cannot capture all the colors.

  4. I would love to visit Germany, Russia, Austria, Croatia and Alaska. Then once I am finished with those countries I would like to visit the many archaeological sites in Turkey, Russia, and southern Siberia.
