2. Great B&W! In my native village all the houses were built with outhouses. There are rural areas in Romania where the outhouses are still found although they also have indoor facilities!

3. It’s a great shot, Carol, and the monochrome really brings out the grain of the wood. All the houses built here before WW2 were built with outhouses, and had indoor facilities added later.

     • I’ve seen people re purpose them, move them off the hole, and turn them into sheds. You could get old barn wood and start from there.

     • I think my late grandmother had an outhouse in the mountains in the Cocle Province where it is used to take showers behind closed doors of course.
