I have been an Elite user on website Yelp for four years in a row, but going into the fifth year (2020) I lost my elite status. At this very moment I am unsure what the reason is for me losing my Elite status, but since losing it I have reduced the time spent putting together reviews.

I have been a Yelp user since 2014; posting 625 business and restaurant reviews along with 14909 pictures. The picture number is insane if you look at the amount that other users have shared which most do not come close to that number.

Going forth, I would like to conduct business on Virily the same way I conducted business on Yelp as far as sharing my restaurant and business reviews. Other than a dominant American based exposure on Yelp, at least I get paid on Virily. And besides, it will just introduce other countries to the types of businesses and restaurants we have in Chicago.
Losing my Elite status after so many contributions throughout the years; it feels as though I am not wanted on the website. Situations like this I have to keep reminding myself to not let it affect my emotions because it is a website. Who knows how this website is ran whether it be by human or computer based. I do know damn well that my contributions were worthy enough of maintaining that Elite status.
In the future, it will be a relief writing on one site and not both Yelp and Virily as I have been these past three years. And it will give me extra content to share with my readers on Virily in the form of food and restaurants as I shared on Yelp.

Hello Thomas, many dedicated video posters on YouTube are having their Adsense income slashed on the site. I personally have noticed an extreme liberalist slant on the site too.
They took mines years ago, but I wasn’t much reliant on it to care.

Do you utilize the website Yelp?
With some sites, that is to be expected. I was writing for site when I received an email that I have been suspended from writing for the site. The reason I had violated the site’s rules by publishing copyrighted articles which wasn’t true. Funny thing was that I had reached the minimum payout.
Expertscolumn. That was in 2012 or 2013. I joined it again two years ago. The views are many but earning is little. One is better earning from comments.
I don’t know why. It receives a lot of view. I had over one thousand views but less than a dollar. When it comes to comments, the earnings are better.
Virily accepts all types of writings which finding a similar site seems so hard to find.
Part of me feels that I will get it back in a few months because i notice that there are others that have lost the status too.
At least you are on this site which seems more lenient and longer lasting than the site you’ve mentioned. I’ve always gotten writings denied when I’d cross that copyright line which is better that flat out booting me off the site. Does sting at the time, but at least I’m still around.
Virily is better. It sounds more promising.
I did attempt to write for a few sites, but they had way too many expectations. However, Virily is more lenient. An overall goal with what I share is to grab new users from the topics I share and hopefully they bring in similar content. It be cool to have more bloggers sharing topics ranging from fitness, fashion, sports, etc.
It will be great but majority are limited in these fields because of either limited knowledge or not involved in them.
I can visit any city and find what I need without driving all over the area. Prior to many of my trips I bookmark ‘good’ businesses:hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, parks, etc on my Yelp page to visit.
Select countries, but it is slowly growing. Will be sweet when it does because it will be easier for travelers to find businesses they can relate to in different countries.
Its an alternate way to keep my writing skills fresh in-between semester. I enjoy supporting businesses that I visit regularly, and really could careless about if it pays or not. There are perks, but not much. I have gotten discounts off and free food for reviewing. Other than that, it is actually a great community and if it were not for some of the people I communicate with I probably wouldn’t be there. The site is beneficial because it helps people find businesses they are looking for. Say for example if I were visiting a different city and needed a barbershop that was actually good. I would look on Yelp and find it based off of reviews. I contribute as much as I look for businesses. You can pretty much find what ever you are looking for based off of a good review.
Sorry about losing your status on Yelp. I have a question for you. I used restaurant reviews I gathered online for my private English lessons when I instructed people in the language back in Latvia. I have those reviews saved up and written about the places, the food, and the atmosphere. Do you think I should think about posting them even if I have never been to these restaurants? The information is all there. Just wondering if they could still be useful.
Sure I’d go for it. As long as it is beneficial for customers it shouldn’t be a problem.

i honestly wonder about the Yelp selection process. I know now, (I talked to the person in charge of the DC are) that they are like Virily, view driven.

No different than the previous years. If anything my views are higher because I have more followers on the site. It goes up and down depending on the time and what I’am involved with. I do post pictures regularly, as you can see that number is high.
wow, you are higher than mine by a lot. I tend to be about 10,000 views per month. But where I am is a smaller area than where you are.
I share my work a lot whether my reviews on Twitter, Lookbook fashion, WordPress blog and pictures litterly on Pinterest. I share my best pictures off of Yelp on Pinterest. Some of the pictures you all see that in have shared on Virily. I do have a following too that views everything I post.
My Google views are out of this world. I always make it a goal to get my Yelp reviews high just like Google which isn’t easy.
