A nieghbor has horses and while riding by one day I saw this donkey and baby. I stopped and took some photos. This was a couple of years ago. The baby is the size of the mother now. Cool to see how friendly they were. Expecting food I am sure.

Well since I do not drive as I am scared shitless, I do not stop to take pictures. You are very lucky to do both. Those two donkeys are very cute…
Well, this was taken in a rural area obviously and I knew the people that lived there. I understand.
i often stop to take a picture of something that catches my eye!

If I see something I like, I find a way to stop.
I don’t ride donkey and house, looks scary.

Yup.. when something really interesting catches my eye I sometimes stop to take a picture
I cannot help myself sometimes.
I don’t drive but make hubby stop just to take pictures.
I have gotten lots of good pics like this.
I do stop and take photos but not while driving as I do not drive (lol)
I love seeing the sunsets and animals while out.
This reminds me of our trip to Beijing in 2017. It was so cold that we bought beef noodles for take out. In the hotel, we enjoyed the hot beef noodle. On the next day when we went back to that small eatery, that’s when we learned that it was not beef but donkey meat.
Oh no, we do not eat that meat here. These are pets!

Living away from the city gives you better opportunities to do this.
