You must know the bird that I showed in the photo above, right? Those Sumatran Bubo Sumatran owls are just a small part of the uniqueness of the tour on the Tebing Breksi or Breksi Cliff. The owls are very tame and have never objected to being carried or placed on anyone’s shoulders.
Breksi Cliff is a tourist place located in Sleman Regency. The location is south of Prambanan Temple and adjacent to Ijo Temple and Boko Palace Complex. The tourist location of Breksi Cliff is precisely in Sambirejo Village, Prambanan, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
This is another place that I visited on my trip to the province/city earlier this week. This very charming place is actually a former place for limestone rock miners who have been abandoned and not used anymore, then transformed into a tourism area.
I hope you are a little curious about this tourist spot and searching in your browser to see the whole beauty because for Saturday Creature I can only show those birds.

How cute owl. I only saw her in the zoo.
Yes, he is… The owl is indeed in an unusual place…
She was like, “what the hell, I haven’t put my makeup on” … :p
Indeed, she was upset because her makeup was left in the hotel.
My answer is no. I have not visited such a mine. But I think it’s an interesting site for visits.
This kind of place is useful and enjoyable after being a tourist place rather than being left abandoned by unresponsible entrepreneurs.
How wonderful. What a great experience. I will have to read more about this spot. Awesome photo.
Thanks a lot, Kim.
I only visited the place for a while and was not satisfied enough to enjoy the experience there but at least it had given good pleasure for this week.
I love owls. I used to have a personal stationery paper that has an owl and my initials on it. Owls are commonly symbolic of wisdom – – – of which I don’t have yet so I am sticking with the pixie right now ?
I also like owl with all the pros and cons about the things it symbolizes.

Are you too excited? Stay Pixie!
Nope. I think some glitch in Virily. I saw same thing happened in my comment over at Doc’s post.
I know, Sis… Just joking…
One of my favorite pictures of today Albert!
There are many mines in the US that have become tourist places. Where I grew up we used to sneak into the old quarries (Limestone) and swim in the “ponds” left by the quarries.
They are the most memorable entertainment of the week…
That is how the former mine should be treated. All of that must be taken care of properly. Honestly, there are many mines in all parts of my country that are neglected, pollute the environment, and can endanger the surrounding community if they are kept quiet continuously. Many entrepreneurs have taken what they need, ignored, and just leave the damage they have made. There are only a few who have become decent and safe for many people.
We have quite a few mines that are now closed … one of them is also a tourist town … mercury mine Idrija
AHA! It must have been a very interesting tourist spot now!
You will believe that I have not been in the cave … as far as I can see on TV, but I read that there is not a particular attraction … they have many problems when the groundwater penetrates the tunnels so that the mine is closed for a long time … the city itself is nothing special
Ah… it’s a pity if it’s like that…
Obviously, there is not much interest … and so they do it all … you know how many people were employed in the mine
Yes, I understand how mine workers generally work.
Nice looking owls in this blog that you have shared.
Luckily there is an opportunity to share in this challenge, Dee.
That is true. I like these kinds of challenges.
The challenge gives us the opportunity to post something here.
That is a true statement.
These owls look very different from the ones I have seen.
I’m sure they come from different types…
What beautiful Owls, I hope to find out more about them
They are beautiful and very tame…
I have never seen such kind of owl.
This was also the first time I saw an owl up close.
wonderful owls and two of them are different from the middle one?
As far as I know they are only younger but of the same kind.
A good picture I could own one of them if I had a farm because it would eat mice would be useful????????????
You are right, they are important animals to maintain the rat population.
I love owls, and all birds, as you know. To see this kind is the first time for me. I will definitely research the spot for more information. Great photo!
I remember you when I saw these birds. Thanks a lot, Carol.
How kind and so glad you shared this lovely photo.
Owls are charming birds, but in childhood I was afraid of them. It is a superstition that if you hear an owl singing, someone close to you will die.
Understandable. Superstition can indeed blockade mentally or give negative suggestions to people. There is a kind of superstition in my place too and that is when I hear the sounds of certain types of sparrows.
