Sky Sunday – Do you enjoy watching our mysterious Moon?

Do you enjoy watching the moon? I do!! This is why I often photograph it. But what do I know about the moon? Almost nothing!

I only know  It is   considered a strange celestial body  because of the many physical properties that scientists can not explain.

Unlike other moons in the Solar system, our moon has a strange orbit. It revolves around the Earth with a 5 degree tilt. All the other moons gravitate around their planets on the equator.

Some lunar rocks contain processed metals such as brass, uranium 236 and neptunium 237, which can only be obtained artificially.

And for the enigma to remain enigmatic until the end, we always see the same face of the Moon!

Quite enigmatic our Moon, do not you think?

Tomorrow we will have Pink Full Moon. I can not wait to see it!

Until then, I have these photos I took last night, for the Sky Sunday Challenge.

  1. Why is the Moon sometimes white and sometimes yellow in the sky?
During the day it was as if on your picture, and at night it was mostly yellow.
Because of the sun and the reflection of the sun’s air.

  2. I am a lover of the moon, and as a lover, I feel very curious why the moon is still so mysterious even though it is the object of the closest universe to our earth. Really, I am not satisfied with all the lessons and information available about the moon. I think you should give me more explanation about these celestial beings.

  3. Yes and no… sometimes at night I look out of my window and see the moon, I’d stop and look at it … but usually I don’t …

  4. I do enjoy watching the night sky and the moon is a big part of that. I am a fan of observational astronomy because we all share the same sky. I have photographed the moon often also. As they say, “… and keep looking up!”
