Short Reply with More Questions

Still trying to help those members who have not been able to post for many days now. I have emailed Virily many times. Got this short reply today:

…..”All of the posts will be published asap.”

That is it. Eight short words. No further explanation. Only more of the same short replies. Does none of us any good.

Nothing complex about this apparently. If it were complex, tell us about it. Members deserve better than this. COMMUNICATION is EVERYTHING!

In the meantime, I know most of you feel like the photo above. Alone on an island without answers. And once again, I have nothing to give. The only positive I can share is some of us did receive payment a few days ago.

If I get any more short replies I will share with you.

  • If you cannot post, are you able to continue receiving points and/or payment?

    • Yes
    • No

What do you think?

Enjoy nature photography. Amateur self-taught photographer and love every minute of the photos from my yard and Dustin's garden. Sunset views from my deck are very peaceful to watch, capture and share. I have two cats, Brendel and the Dude. I share both special and funny moments I capture of them with you.

Also enjoy seeing and reading your posts from all over the world.

  1. Carol, you know my problem. While I’m able to post (though some of my posts are still in the Q to be published) I’m just working to get the negative off … they’re still there… I guess I’ll have to try and contact them from my side too.

Just venting though, still very grateful for your help 🙂

  2. I suspect we all need to step back.

The reality is that authors, write to write. They don’t write to comment.

The views on the site are way down. 14 days in we are losing authors. The content we have isn’t being read.

I do not blame anyone for not reading if they are not being published. It takes so much more work to make the same number of virils with comments only.

(comment, plus view credit 3, if the author responds 4 or 6.)
1 post with 30 reads – (article format) 75 Virils.

Hard to make comments work as a way to earn Virils overall.

    • We are forced to step back Doc. Nothing else to do. I am not giving up. I just am getting frustrated for the others who deserve better than this. You know how easy it is to send out a message to everyone. An explanation. Something. Anything.

I do not blame those that are leaving, even though I am trying my hardest to encourage each one to stay.

  3. Short and sweet answer that does not say anything. I can create and comment and receive points for people reading my posts. As for pay I am still far from 10$ because my two latest posts are still waiting for publication. I am wondering if there is a bit of a language barrier with Virily due to the fact that it is in Estonia. Or is it problems with their server or the editor or What? Anyway I still check in several times a day and write comments for a few measly virils….

  4. I got a reply too This is what I had written to them

“I joined Virily on July 3, 2019 and we happy being there. But suddenly you have stopped publishing my posts.
All this while most of my posts reached the trending section and now why do you not want my posts.

    Awaiting your urgent response”

The first reply was – which post? I sent them the list. Then the reply was that is just not possible that my posts were not published and that they would check. I get one published. Have sent them a email again about this and have also asked them to publish posts of other users as well as they too are languishing.

  5. I wonder because there is no communication. So people are desperate and unwilling to publish. I participate in another site that I haven’t visited in 3 months and now I see how many new members there are. It is a pity that the large family of virily loses regular participants. There are many publications today, but I don’t see some of the oldest contributors.
