I am sending the final poll to the admins today, as promised.
I decided against my friends ask, to the only comment on those posts of people that comment on mine. I did try and will continue to do a return for people that read and upvote my posts. Within reason, of course, I did decide that if the ratio creeps towards 20 comments by me one comment by the other person, I won’t be commenting on those posts anymore. For all of us to make money, we have to work together, comments with views and upvotes are gold. Pictures are beautiful and upvotes are sweet, but add a comment, and the author has a chance to gain! The other thing I would like to point out to everyone that reads this is the Sharing is Caring Challenge. If you haven’t noticed, take a look! First, the sharing is caring challenge helps the author whose posts are being shared. I found two jobs I had missed three years ago today. I thought I had read all those posts from ages ago! So that is a perfect thing to be able to catch up on posts from other authors. But the last few shares in that challenge have all been trending, and two of them are on the top trending list for the site. So they are also helping the posting author. That, in my book, is a win-win.
Sharing is caring not only helps both authors, but it is supporting the site! So please support that challenge- consume or join! (or both.)
Carol did a similar challenge 5-6 months ago. There were complaints from authors that the problem was burning up their maximums on posts. That was the least informed complaint I have ever heard. If you reach your maximum earnings on a job, that is awesome. If you do that every day, that is going to get your pay. So, the ridiculous argument against the challenge is just that, pointless.
I will remind everyone of my father and grandfather’s favorite saying (mostly my father, but my grandfather often echoed it). Sharing is Caring helps the site overall.
“if you aren’t part of the solution, you are the problem!” the variation I got from time to time from my grandfather. The reality is, let’s help others gain views! The more we comment, the more we have conversations, the better all authors do on the site. We survive together!

Humm, well I had to go check and see how much I actually share. It’s an average of 40 a day in 4 different social media sites. I don’t know if it brings anything back, but that’s my average attempt. However, I don’t think I have ever used the hashtag or really named it.
I think the idea that “we” could read the posts and help them get approved is an amazing one. (I like things that make me accountable and realize that what I do or don’t do has an impact.)
well i sent that last part along to the admins – no response yet.
I know you share – you know how I know? I see the bump when you read and comment on posts!
you are an awesome sharing machine!

I am just here to read 😂. I am sharing my time and my thought.
that is a great thing – readers and authors go hand in hand!
Nobody can save the site, except the writers, so let us write.
It’s more than 16 days, my post still sits idle, unmoderated.
i have sent them an email every day for the last 10. Will continue to be annoying to the admin team about this and other site issues.
Thanks for your persistence, and vigilance , Doc.
i wish I could do more. I feel bad for those whose posts aren’t getting moderated quickly. Honestly, it impacts all of us, (views go down).
Hehe, here is a ‘wtf’ from me, lol
I will also share on my Tumblr which sends it to Twitter
cool – do you have much traction from Tumblr? I do on rare occasions.
Not really. Tumblr is by far the worse place to get interaction
i’ve noticed that – it seems to be a seagull site. Swoop in, dump crap and swoop away.
And that is pretty much what I do. Dump it, then leave. Such a waste of a site. I wonder how they keep up on revenue.
i get some there, but not a lot.
thanks i am only 2 away this month from a new toy!
I think we just have to rely on each other and bravely march forward. I see you got 1 WTF on this post.
well the good news is writers are coming back the bad news is they aren’t approving posts.
I hope you succeed with this project. I am always ready to help.
i do you are, and i saw the “not nice” comment on your sharing is caring post, and I had to stand up for my friend!
I already know you pretty well now and I know you always “defend” your friends. I think I also know what comment you mean
🙂 i am glad to know you understand. I try really hard to do the right things.
I think you are one of the few who strives for friends here.
Thanks for the mention. I remember the negative comments. And I am doing it again, bring it on I say. I will continue helping others here as long as possible! Good luck with your project.
Thanks = i got your back. I did the last time I do this time as well. Its helping the site!
Much appreciated. Same goes here, for whatever that is worth!
a lot to me! the main person that was angry about it is gone. And the self-appointed royal doesn’t talk to you. so you might be ok!
Ha, you are so right. And I see you have two so far. But who is counting, it really doe snot matter!
i got one from Thomas (on purpose) but I get my new gadget due to the helpful emoji crew!
I just hope that all the effort you have put into making the site better is rewarded
a really good friend of mine always says do the right things, then you never have regrets.
No one can ever say you didn’t try; really try
thank you, that is very kind of you to say!
