We have been in a drought with no rain for months. Finally last night the rain started. And the rain continues to fall this morning. I am so happy.
The temperatures are dropping as well. My favorite kind of weather.
I went out between raindrops and snapped a photo of the rose leaves in Dustin’s garden. It is so cool to photograph during and after a rain shower.

Raindrops or dew drops are important for plant life. Great post.
We have been swinging between very hot weather and thunder storms when we should have just had some just cool pleasant weather.
We finally got our fall rain and cool weather, I hope it lasts.
first, glad you got rain.
Second glad it is cooler!
Now, the picture wow! Once again you have shared a picture that captures a story. Wonderful! In the doorway to Narnia, even water follows the rules!
I am a happy camper Doc. And I love the garden after a rain. Thank you!
Glad to hear weather gave you a break!
Yes, I know the feeling I like rain, but in summer it is predicted drought..
Yes we went through this drought, so glad it is over.
Rain is the blessings from God that is why it is so refreshing
We went three months with heat and no rain, it is welcomed.
I agree it can be peaceful if it falls once a month but lately its been daily and quite gloomy.

NIce photo. I have one with drops on a yellow rose.
Thanks, I also have them on my pink roses, they would be pretty together.
Stunning picture, especially the rain drops. We too have rain and wind. Very annoying combination ?
Thank you, yes I know about the wind. So far we just have much needed rain.
Oh yes. like raindrops keep falling on my head
I almost added that song to this post. I am always thinking in lyrics it seems.
Good to see you!
You can always add it another raindrops post. Can’t wait.
Great idea, I just love the rain so very much.
You captured the rain beautifully on the leaves.
Thank you, I love photographing after the rain.
You should try it with your new camera one day.
A nice picture of the raindrops, my friend
Thank you very much my friend. Enjoying the the rain.
I love Macro Monday. Now that I know what it is. I didn’t know what it was all about ar first. It’s terrific!
Yes, any photo that you take up close is a macro. You should give it a try.
I am sure you have a photo you could submit.
I think I’ve been refreshed enough for one day – when will it stop?!
Are you having too much rain? We are not there yet, things have been so dry here.
We have just had the remnants of an Atlantic hurricane sweeping across the UK – not a lot of wind but plenty of rain!
Oh I see. I hope you dry out soon.
It looks like the raindrops are happily dancing on the leaves. 🙂
I am thankful for having heavy rain just now too. It helps us to get a clearer sky (we suffered from haze issue here), and the plants are happy to have the rain water as well.
Yes they do l look happy and they make me happy!
We also needed rain to clean the air as well.
