All of the bird watching in my yard lately has taken my attention away from the other critters. Even with all the construction of new homes around me, I still see a rabbit from time to time. They are either eating the grass or on the run so I have to be quick with the camera.
Sharing this photo with today’s Saturday Critters challenge.
Funny thing about rabbits. If they see you, usually they will freeze. Survival instinct I am guessing. I have seen them sit still for ten minutes before. Another amazing nature fact that is just incredible.
A rabbit’s foot may be carried as sort of a lucky charm, believed to bring protection and often good luck. I remember having one in my childhood I always had with me.

Not often seen a rabbit in my neighbourhood but seen them at Ambury farm.
Our neighbours had rabbits in the past, it was so cool to feed them!!!
My former next door neighbor had some rabbits on his property.

Many years ago I worked with a person that made fun of people that carried rabbits feet in their pockets for luck.
He always said “it wasn’t lucky for the rabbit.”
This was back in my childhood when everyone seemed to be doing it.
It was a big craze i remember. Everyone had them on their key chains!

It’s a very cute rabbit. Yes, I already saw one but never tried touching it. I don’t know about carrying a rabbit’s foot for luck. Oh, I have a different interpretation on carrying rabbit’s foot. Glad I read your comment above.

I saw only a domestic rabbit. In my childhood we had them

I have seen domestic and wild rabbits. I have not heard of a lucky rabbit’s leg.
It is not an actual rabbit’s foot, just a lucky charm.
I only see rabbits being kept by people as pets or on farms but not in the wild.

Oh, those are usually the white rabbits. These are absolutely wild.

I really have another, dear Carol … I do not know why I remembered the rabbit … probably because there are nothing … I do not remember the flower because there are too many … I apologize even though I did not mean anything bad with it
