Purple-Leaf Plum?

Here’s another photo I took of the beautiful pinkish blossoms. Last time when I posted a photo of this tree, a lot of people were curious about it. I did my research, and I believe that the tree is a type of cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera), more specifically purple-leaf plum. Feel free to correct me if you know what the tree is because I am not very good with plants and flowers. However, I am learning a lot thanks to my interest in taking photos.

  1. I remember this tree! Yes it is a great photograph for tree identification as it has a good clear close up of the flowers, also the leaf is in focus. I am constantly looking up information for the photos I take. Great poll and photo. ~ : )
