Poll: Are you or aren't you?

I recently found out from a food sensitivity test I can’t have certain things that will make it challenging to stick to, but I will do it. I am sensitive to dairy products of all kinds. I have to think of recipes where I can use almond milk. That is fine for smoothies etc, but I can’t have eggs either. I guess I can use egg substitutes. I can have all meats but lamb. I can have most spices, just can’t have mustard and vanilla bean.

  1. I had many allergies as a child; milk, eggs, fish, beans, and dust. I was even hospitalized for two weeks for observation when I was thirteen. When I was in high school I broke all dietary restrictions and insisted that my body had to adjust, and in fact it did work! Until now I was free to eat whatever I wanted.

  2. I have no food sensitivities but I am allergic to shellfish. But allergy tests can be deceiving as according to them I am very allergic to cats but I have Runt (my cat) and I often see my sister’s two cats with no allergic reactions so I am not even sure about shellfish but it does not matter as I am not too inclined to like the taste of shellfish.

  3. Well I don’t argue with food so it never disagrees with me 🙂
(sorry I couldn’t help that one)

For me it is the reality of when I eat more than what I eat. Although i no longer eat bread. Bread be bad!

But when will impact me more.

  4. I don’t think I am sensitive to any food, or perhaps I haven’t really find out yet. I used to be allergic to prawns when I was younger, but now it seems fine now.

  5. No sugar for me, diabetic. There is a series of documentaries on Netflix about food. I watched one the other day that had a thing on food allergies. They are on the rise they say and I sure have noticed more and more kids are allergic to peanuts, shellfish, dairy, etc. I am sorry to hear about yours, but at least now you can avoid them and feel better!
