Photos Chain Challenge ~ The largest passenger catamaran

I continue with the challenge started by Ileana. The rules have changed a bit. This week’s theme is watercraft.

I also took this picture during my vacation on one of the Croatian islands.

The catamaran is an attraction that the Adriatic has never seen before, and how could it not be if it is the largest carbon (which makes the vessel firmer and lighter and consumes less essential fuel.) Passenger catamaran in the world. It was made in Norway. The ‘Carbo Wing’ catamaran is 40.5 meters long, 10.7 meters wide, and weighs 90 tons. The leather air seats on the two decks can accommodate 350 passengers, and the entire task of building the 90-ton ship was worth € 7.5 million.

  • Have you rode a catamaran?

    • Yes

  1. We do have ferries here though. For cars, trucks, and people. I usually walk on to save money and avoid the car lines. We could certainly use one of those. It is smoother than a ship I imagine. That’s cool.
