The Hudson River is synonymous with the Statue of Liberty. That is how I associate it with as it was when we opted to visit the Statue of Liberty did I hear of the Hudson River for the first time.
While on the ferry travelling towards Elis Island I cannot explain the excitement I felt to get there. This image is what I clicked while on the ferry as it came in sight. I simply could not wait to get off and be there. I had heard so much about the Statue of Liberty and there it was.
The Hudson River made it possible – yet another memory created.
