We spent hours on the banks of the Jhelum River in Kashmir. The bank was packed with pebbles and we could conveniently sit on them. I even picked a pebble as a souvenir.
Not just the bank the Jhelum River has the most beautiful pebbles in its bed and illegal mining is going on there in full swing. Unless there is connivance from the government this activity has no place there. But such is life.
I have used pebbles in creating rockeries in our garden and the smaller pebbles are used to create garden paths adding a touch of class.

Beautiful view of the river. This country must be very beautiful.
There is corruption everywhere. These days sand mining is prohibited where I live.
I love collecting pebbles and seashells too.
Pebbles add glamour to any landscaped garden.
