I was quite looking forward to this ride in the Narmada river skirted by beautiful soft rocks. The river looked inviting and the boatman was confident.
In the course of his commentary however, I got a jolt from the blue when he mentioned that the river was infested with crocodiles. It was the worst boat ride for me by all standards. I just wanted to return.
This was proved when I came across a piece of news about a guy who had come from California to his village and got killed by a crocodile when he went for a swim in the Narmada river.

We have no crocodiles in our country. I certainly wouldn’t ride down that river.
Had I known earlier I would not have either!!
