Nandina is a shrub growing in my yard. I have several in the front garden. The evergreen plants are a favorite. They change from green to rust and then burgundy over the season.
There are many varieties of nandina, and they all provide beautifully colored new growth in the spring. Sienna Sunrise is one I have in the garden, it sort of puts on a spring show with its blazing red foliage and displaying red highlights in fall. These are just starting to change colors.
I enjoy planting different types of flowers and shrubs. I have several of these and two are dwarfs.
They will not grow tall but in some spots of your garden you need to stagger the height of your plants.

Beautiful and colourful shrub, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your support and commenting.
we have the front evergreens, that are there in all seasons. The rest of the plants are annuals and go away with the end of their seasons.
Evergreens are the best. I can never have too many.
This is a beautiful shrub, with such pretty colors. I don’t have it in my garden but I really like it.
Thanks it is a low maintenance favorite. Good to see you.
I like evergreen shrubs especially the ones that change colors.
Same here and there are not many that change colors.
Oh wow look at those colors. I love it, love it. I’ve never heard of nandina before.
Thanks Dawn it is very common here and one of my favorites.
for some reason I thought Nandina was the neighbor of Narnia…
Ha well it is in my yard. Nandina in the front and Narnia in the back.
At a glance I thought it was a crouton. I have many croutons but they do not change colour
Never heard of those before.

I think we have that plant here with the variegated leaves but I don’t know the name.
Not sure if it is in your country or not.
I would have this shrub in the garden but my garden is too small for all the plants I would have.
This one doesn’t take up much space, especially the dwarfs.
These leaves are really beautiful colors, dear Carol
Thank you, they make me happy to see these colors.
Have a wonderful evening Lado!
It is beautiful! I don’t have a large garden like yours, but I turned my balcony into a small garden.
Thank you. You still manage to find excellent photos my friend.
And look at the extra time you have for photography!
I love this pink shrub.
Thanks, I so enjoy watching it change colors.
I have these planted out front and I like them a lot. Very low maintenance.
Very nice and decorative leaves of that plant.
Thanks Robin, another garden favorite.
Really enjoyed seeing your trip posts Robin. Thanks for sharing.
